Melinda and Jason Rodriguez have been married for 15 years and have two sons. Roman is in 6th grade and Deacon is a 4th grader. Joining my sons' PTA has always been a goal of mine. The PTA provides an opportunity to meet other parents, and I feel like I am helping my community.  Dr. Seuss says, 'Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.'"

As a member of Gulledge PTA, I have the direct opportunity to make a positive impact on the students, teachers, and staff.

Marie Callier, 4th Vice President, Membership

My name is Marie Callier and I will be your Membership Chair for the 2023-24 school year.  I’m super excited to be in this role and I can’t wait to work alongside some awesome individuals.  I am a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BS and MS in Accounting.  By day, I am an accounting/financial systems analyst and at night I get to be a mom to a sweet, amazing kiddo named MJ (4th grade) and a wife to my husband, Myron.  My husband and I have been in the Plano area for almost 18 years and my son has been a proud Gulledge Gator since Kindergarten!  I’ve always had a passion for working with and mentoring youth and have done so within my church affiliation.  After having a child of my own, I can gladly say that my time is now devoted to his many school events and extracurricular activities.  I’m thrilled to continue supporting him and the Gator community and I look forward to an exciting school year!

Melissa Hauptli, 5th Vice President, Volunteers

She has also volunteered with seniors and has volunteered time working with other causes for the betterment of society. During her free time Seema enjoys cooking, watching movies and giving back to the community.

"Being an educator I am well aware of parents' involvement in PTA. I always wanted to be a part of my children's school and want to create a direct impact by my involvement. As it is rightly said in Bhagwad Gita that "no other work can give you peace of mind as helping others can"
